A tote bag ...
This is what makes sewing a creative adventure. Some one has a creative idea and a need. In this case it was Sarah who is herself a creation in motion!
The order for a tote bag came this way.
"...a bag to use for supplies for a kindergarten class - with room for a small purse and keys etc. ..."
"Not cute with apples or ABC - but sophisticated, fashionable - and could it have an embroidered design? This idea was the template for an 15x17 inch double handled, lined tote bag made of medium weight upholstery fabric and decorated with an ancient Irish knot. Idea actualized - practical and meaningful.
