The long season of Pentecost begins after Easter and ends late in the Autumn at the beginning of Advent.
Historically it is known as the season of the church active in the world. Throughout Spring and Summer and in to the Fall of the year we are reminded of the seasons and variations within our own life and that of our community and world.
Overlays have been created for the Green tapestry banner of Pentecost to highlight the seasons in which it hangs–Flowers for Spring, Butterflies for Summer, and Autumn leaves for Fall.
